So far in 2012, Exclaim! has celebrated its 20th anniversary with an array of Canadian concerts, and the fun is continuing on through the fall. On November 17, the Music Gallery, located in Toronto's St. George the Martyr Anglican Church, will host Exclaim!'s Destination Out showcase, which is being curated by Owen Pallett.

Destination Out is Exclaim!'s section for boundary-pushing music that spans everything from electronic ambience to non-linear improv, experimental rock, avant jazz, droning noise and much more. We asked Pallett (who used to perform as Final Fantasy) to assemble some of his favourite acts for the night.

Pallett selected genre-mashing art siblings Doom Squad, avant-pop Torontonian T H O M A S and Alex Lukashevsky (who will perform with singers Felicity Williams and Daniela Gesundheit).

Tickets cost $10 for Music Gallery members, $13 in advance and $17 at the door. You can get advance tickets from Ticketweb or Soundscapes.

As a special deal, purchase a $45 pass for access to four shows from the Music Gallery's Pop Avant series from 2012 to 2013. Call 416-204-1080 for more information.
