Organized Rhyme

"Check the O.R. Redux" (video)

Way back in the early '90s, well before Tom Green hosted his pranky talk show, the comedian was part of Ottawa hip-hop troupe Organized Rhyme, who had but one hit single, "Check the O.R." Shortly after dropping their debut disc Huh? Stiffenin Against the Wall, the group disbanded. This past summer, though, they reunited for a performance at Montreal's Just for Laughs festival and ended up spiffing up their single for 2011.

Down below you can catch "Check the O.R. Redux," which finds Green (aka MC Bones) and Greg Campbell (aka Pin the Chameleon) haunting supermarket and city street locales like they did in the original clip. The rappers are noticeably less fresh-faced than they were 20 years ago, both sport some face fuzz, but they're seemingly still having as much fun as ever. It remains to be seen, however, if they still lay more chicks than Mother Goose.

Take note, Bones swapped his Sens cap of yore to honour the late, only occasionally great Montreal Expos.
