Oren Ambarchi, Keiji Haino and Sunn O)))'s Stephen O'Malley Team Up For 'Nazoranai'

Having recently teamed with Jim O'Rourke for a live LP, out-there guitarist Oren Ambarchi and experimental musician Keiji Haino are getting back together for a new collaborative LP, but this time with ambient sludgester Stephen O'Malley of Sunn O))) filling that third slot.

The trio will deliver an LP titled Nazoranai for O'Malley's Editions Mego side-label Ideologic Organ on CD and double LP July 3. Sound samples have yet to be delivered, but the four-song affair is shaping up to be pretty epic.

Besides the side-length compositions, just check out the song titles on this thing (the opener, for instance, is "feel the ultimate joy towards the resolve of pillar being shattered within you again and again and again"). You can see the tracklisting down below and the cover art above.

Nazoranai was recorded by Chris Fullard at Paris, France's Gâité Lyrique last November and features Ambarchi on guitar, vocal, and synth, and O'Malley on bass, while Haino will take on the role of "battery."

Nazoranai:

1. feel the ultimate joy towards the resolve of pillar being shattered within you again and again and again
2. not a joy to come closer but so-called a sacred insanity has finally appeared
3. getting a bit blurry brush up your cartel and devote it to something
4. not to leave everything to the light outside of you but to be aware of the prayer "what do i want to do?" that exists inside of you, and let that go out of you as a light, or things might get worse, no?
