Dan Boeckner has achieved indie stardom with his bands Wolf Parade, Handsome Furs and Divine Fits, and now he's pressing ahead with his latest project Operators. With their 2014 release EP1 freshly out on vinyl, they have unveiled the new single "Ecstasy in My House."
As with most of Operators' material, this track emphasizes the electronic side of Boeckner's output. It's anchored by urgent arpeggiators, which are overlaid with melodic synth stabs, danceable beats and Boeckner's raw, melodic vocals.
