OL' CD

"Blackout" (video)

BY Sarah MurphyPublished Jul 6, 2016

Toronto garage rockers OL'CD showed off their artsy side last year with a video for "Van Gogh," and now they're back with some fresh visuals for a new cut called "Blackout."

The brash energetic buzz of the song gets matched with equally exciting footage of an amateur scientist gone mad. The Dr. Frankenstein-esque experimenter brings the band members' dead bodies back to life and outfits them with instruments; naturally, a rockin' performance ensues. It was directed and edited by Brock Phelan.

The track is slated to appear on the band's upcoming EP Premium Trash, which is expected out later this month. As we await its arrival, check out the video for "Blackout" in the player below. Just scroll past the band's upcoming Canadian shows to give it a watch.
