Oh My Goth!

First Mike Watt teams up with Kelly Clarkson (a collaboration we're all waiting to ingest) and now the man famous for popularising goth, Robert Smith, is currently at work on Ashlee Simpson's first post-nose job album.

Though it was the lip-syncing teen idol's manager/father Joe Simpson who spread the news at SXSW recently, according to EW.com, Fall Out Boy's penis protruding bassist/songwriter Pete Wentz admits he also knows of the partnership. "I doubt I had anything to do with it, 'cause they were friends since she was performing in Chicago,' he said. "But I definitely only have good things to say about Ash - I think the collaboration could be great."

Smith is only one of the many unlikely collaborators on Simpson's record. Also confirmed as contributors are soulman John Legend, Tim Rice-Oxley from Keane and the Neptunes' Chad Hugo.
