Following the release of their latest record UR FUN, Of Montreal have shared a brand new music video for their album track "Get God's Attention by Being an Atheist."
The Christina Schneider-directed visuals feature glittery masked creatures who suffer repeated attacks from small children armed with bottles full of multicoloured pigment.
Here's what frontman Kevin Barnes had to say about filming the video:
I wanted to use child actors because this song is an anthem to rebellion and fuck-all'edness. Anybody who's spent any time around five year olds knows that they are the embodiment of punk rock élan. My brother's son plays the role of Baby Lanc, a sort of Pied Piper character that teaches other kids how to conquer their demons, and have a blast while doing it!
UR FUN arrived last month through Polyvinyl. The band's new track arrives following the release of "Peace to All Freaks" and "Polyaneurism."
