Nothingness

"Annie's Song"

British Columbia act Nothingness embrace just that — for their new album Being, the group's Bill Young relocated from Vancouver to Pender Island in an effort to embrace a simpler lifestyle. Today we get our first taste of those recordings with an exclusive premiere of "Annie's Song."

The track is an immensely rich pop offering, pairing the singalong folk of Neutral Milk Hotel with some absolutely intense drum work. It's a stunning sound, and one that has us eager to hear the rest of Being.

Listen to "Annie's Song" below. The single will be officially released tomorrow (June 17) via Big Smoke. Then, on July 10, fans can also catch Nothingness at Vancouver's Neptoon Records. More information on that show is available here.
