Nosaj Thing Returns with 'Parallels' LP, Plots Tour

The producer says the LP "represents a kind of redemptive rebirth"

After delivering his No Reality EP last year, Nosaj Thing (a.k.a Jason Chung) has lifted the curtain on a new full-length album.

Titled Parallels, the record will arrive September 8 through Innovative Leisure and follows the producer's 2015 full-length Fated. As Chung's Bandcamp page notes, the album's "elusive, uncategorizable sonics" were born from what he calls "a personal & musical 'identity crisis.'"

The album features contributions from Zuri Marley, Blonde Redhead's Kazu Makino and Steve Spacek of Africa Hitech. Chung has said the collaborators helped create "new energy which pushed me not to limit myself. Everything felt fresh and alive."

Spacek appears on the record's first single "All Points Back To U," which you can hear in the player below. Chung has also mapped out a fall tour in support of the record that will see him tour Western Canada and the United States.

Parallels:

1. Nowhere
2. All Points Back To U [ft. Steve Spacek]
3. Form
4. How We Do [ft. Kazu Makino]
5. U G
6. Get Like
