Nosaj Thing has detailed his fifth full-length album. The artist and producer born Jason Chung will share Continua on October 27 via LuckyMe.
Following Chung's excellent 2017 album Parallels, the 12-song Continua sees the artist joined by a cast of collaborators that includes Korean outfit HYUKOH, Toro y Moi, Blonde Redhead's Kazu Makino, serpentwithfeet, Sam Gendel, Coby Sey, Julianna Barwick, Slauson Malone, Pink Siifu, Panda Bear and Eyedress.
A release shares that in the time since the aforementioned Parallels, Chung has experienced family health-scares and house break-ins. Through recording Continua, the artist referred to the photo seen on its cover above, a shot of an open road at dusk taken by Eddie Otchere in the West Highlands of Scotland. The result is said to be a record that encourages listeners to keep going.
Below, you can hear the HYUKOH-assisted "We Are" alongside the previously shared "Blue Hour" with Barwick. Chung previously worked with Barwick on her 2020 album Healing Is a Miracle.
