Northlane Sign to New Damage for Next LP, Unveil North American Tour

Aussie progressive metal makers Northlane have announced that they've inked a new record deal with Canadian imprint New Damage Records to deliver the full-length follow-up to 2013's Singularity.

A press release confirms that the band's next set will arrive via New Damage in Canada, with Rise Records handling the record in the U.S. and UNFD overseas. The Canadian pressings of the band's debut offering, Discoveries, and Singularity had been handled by Distort.

The as-yet-untitled LP is due sometime in July. A new in-the-studio documentary series from the band has them claiming it's a "landmark" release that followed a "rocky period." The group detail the pressure of making the album, living up to past expectations, and pushing themselves into new sonic territories. You'll find out what that all entails down below.

Additionally, Northlane have revealed North American tour plans. The trip kicks off August 5 in Vancouver and includes a number of Canadian stops between the West Coast and Quebec. The trek will feature supporting acts Like Moths to Flames, In Hearts Wake and Oceans Ate Alaska.
