Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds have revealed a new EP titled Blue Moon Rising. It will arrive on March 6 via Sour Mash.
The mini release follows the project's other recent EPs, This Is the Place and Black Star Dancing. In addition to the title track and two remixes of it, the EP also features songs called "Wandering Star" and "Come On Outside."
"Wandering Star" is the first track to be released from the upcoming EP.
"It was written in Abbey Road last November on the same day I wrote Black Star Dancing," Gallagher told NME. "It's that good, it sounds like it took 5.4 people to come up with it. It's already a live standard and we haven't even played it yet."
