Liam Gallagher claims his older brother and former Oasis bandmate, Noel Gallagher, is threatening to sue him.Last week, the younger brother confirmed that his upcoming documentary As It Was had been completed, but last night (February 18) it ran into some trouble when Liam revealed that Noel was threatening to sue him for using footage of Oasis songs.
In a tweet, Liam claimed, "I've just been informed that I'll be sued by the not so mighty little fella and his goons at Ignition if I use any footage of me singing, yes Oasis songs, in As It Was."

He later elaborated, saying that the legal discrepancy was over footage of Liam singing "Live Forever" at the "One Love Manchester" benefit concert following a terrorist attack at an Ariana Grande concert.
Liam went on to suggest that "maybe it's the shame of the not so mighty little fella not showing up because he was too busy supping bubbles on a dingy with what's her face."
So it's the footage of me singing live forever at the one love concert that's upset team NG maybe it's the shame of the not so mighty little fella not showing up because he was too busy supping bubbles on a dingy with what's her face AS YOU WERE LG x

Noel did not attend the benefit show in 2017, though he did donate proceeds from "Don't Look Back in Anger" to victims' families after the song became a rallying cry for the U.K. city in the days following the massacre.
A release date has not yet been set for the release of As It Was. Liam Gallagher released his debut solo album As You Were in 2017.
