No Direction Home: Bob Dylan in Talks to Voice Automakers' GPS Systems

When he's supposedly not working on his rumoured Christmas album, rock'n'roll hero Bob Dylan likes to keep busy with a variety of projects. Among them is his hosting stint on XM Radio's Theme Time Radio Hour, where Dylan recently dropped the news that he's in talks to narrate GPS systems for some unnamed automakers.

"I am talking to a couple of car companies about being the voice of their GPS system," Dylan said [via TwentyFourBit]. "I think it would be good if you are looking for directions and hear my voice saying something like: 'Left at the next street, no a right - you know what? Just go straight.' I probably shouldn't do it because whichever way I go I always end up at one place: Lonely Avenue."

No matter what you think of the idea, Dylan's laid-back drawl would be a much classier addition to your SUV than this.
