It's taken him a few years to get it up and running, but finally Trent Reznor's wish has come true and Interscope/Universal has granted him permission to go live with his remix website. In celebration of the new Nine Inch Nails remix album, Y34RZ3R0R3M1X3D, Reznor has launched remix.nin.com, a site allowing fans to create their own remixes of NIN tracks from over the years. Yes, you can finally add more "fucks" or pig squeals to "Closer," if you wish, or turn censor it with the line "I want to hug you like a stuffed animal," so your children can sing along. Do whatever you like. The site acknowledges that it is still running in a beta version so you may run into some bugs, but I'm sure eventually it will get up to snuff... or y'know, shut down again when Universal realises they could make $$$ from such a unique tool.
