After teasing us with "Burning Bright (Field on Fire)," Nine Inch Nails have delivered their full new five-song EP, Not the Actual Events — and you can hear it right now.
The EP was primarily recorded by Trent Reznor and newly official member Atticus Ross, but it has now been revealed that a few other special guests also pop up on the latest recordings. Dave Grohl plays drums on "The Idea of You," while Dave Navarro appears on the aforementioned "Burning Bright (Field on Fire)" and Reznor's wife Mariqueen Maandig plays on "She's Gone Away."
Not the Actual Events marks Nine Inch Nails' follow-up to 2013's Hesitation Marks. As previously reported, they'll be reissuing Broken, The Downward Spiral and The Fragile next year, as well as releasing a deluxe 4-LP version of the latter.
