This Service Promises to Text You When Frank Ocean's 'Boys Don't Cry' Drops

As we all too sadly figured out last Friday (August 5), Frank Ocean's Boys Don't Cry is still not here. While the most desperate of us are continually refreshing our browsers waiting for something to arrive, we can officially chill, as a new service has been set up to alert us when the album actually drops.

(650)82OCEAN is a free service that automatically cruises listings on Spotify, iTunes and Twitter for word of the new Frank Ocean album. Subscribers will be sent a text message or email the moment it arrives.

Interested Ocean fans can subscribe by offering up their phone number or email. Created by programmer Shahzeb Khan, (650)82OCEAN reportedly stores your info in its "secure database." So far, over 1,200 people have signed up. Considering how long a wait it's been for the album, though, are any of them actually expecting a tri-tone ring anytime soon?

You can sign up for the service over here.

As previously reported, Ocean's Boys Don't Cry was reportedly dropping last Friday as an Apple Music exclusive. A video stream had been posted on boysdontcry.co, but so far it hasn't offered up more than a few ambient sounds.
