Last we heard from New Design, they had just released a video for "Say You Want Me," and now the Brampton emo outfit have debuted a brand new track called "Where I Need to Be."
The band tell Exclaim! that the song is about "the importance of being able to recognize when you aren't where you want to be in life, so long as you also recognize and keep close the things that are important to you."
The song will appear on the band's upcoming Where I Need to Be EP, which is currently available for pre-order both physically and digitally.
The accompanying video, meanwhile, captures New Design on Toronto Island, and according to the group, it serves as a reminder not to get caught up in stress and professional expectations — but rather, to enjoy creating and playing music with their best friends.
