Neil Young, D.R.A.M. and the Social Experiment Recorded Inside an Old Bob Dylan Tour Bus

Virginia rapper/crooner D.R.A.M. dropped a thinking face emoji hinting at a potential team-up with Neil Young way back in February, but it seems like a bright red 100 emoji is now in order, as the collaboration totally happened.

Photos of D.R.A.M. and Young recording at Rick Rubin's Shangri-La Studios in Malibu, CA, have emerged online via a new video from XXL. As Young himself says in the clip, "Hey D.R.A.M., it sure was good, man."

It gets even better, though. The two artists were also joined by the Social Experiment — the project helmed by Nico Segal, who recently opted to drop his Donnie Trumpet stage name following the results of the American election.

Further adding to the intrigue, D.R.A.M., Young and Segal worked on the new music together from inside an old Bob Dylan tour bus that was converted into a studio.

It's currently not known what those sessions will turn into or when they might appear, but D.R.A.M. confirmed that "I worked on one of his records, he worked on one of my records" in an interview with Brooklyn Magazine earlier this year.

"It was really, really cool, man," he said at the time. "I mean, a guy from the old school, like, a real, Rock and Roll Hall of Famer. Just embracing my take on music, my sound, and the fact that I'm able to collaborate with someone so legendary, from a whole nother side of the spectrum
it's monumental. It's one of those real defining moments, like, 'you're really out here.'"

While we await further details about D.R.A.M. and Young's work together, watch XXL's footage from the Shangri-La Studios and revisit D.R.A.M.'s hit single "Broccoli" down below — let's just hope it's about non-GMO veg.
