Nardwuar is officially a hall of famer! The beloved celebrity interviewer and Evaporators frontman known as Nardwuar the Human Serviette is being inducted into the BC Entertainment Hall of Fame.

In addition to appearing in the BC Entertainment Hall of Fame, Nardwuar will be honoured with a star on the Granville Street Walk of Fame in Vancouver.

Blues songwriter Colin James is also being honoured. Other inductees this year include Bob Buckley, Rick Scott, Joani Taylor, Karin Konoval, Moira Walley-Beckett, Emily Molnar, and five historical honourees: Jeff Groberman, Anna Hagan, the Crump Twins, Mel Warner and Terrance Kelly.

Nardwuar posted a photo of his star from the Walk of Fame on Facebook, and shared the following statement:

I am honoured! Amazing! Thanks so much to the BC Entertainment Hall of Fame for inducting me! Soon my star will be placed in the pavement on 'The Walk of Fame' on Granville St. in Vancouver, BC Canada! 30 different people nominated me for this and I am so grateful for them (and you!) for believing in me! I would like to dedicate this Star to my Mom who instilled in me a deep love of history. Also, if I, Nardwuar the Human Serviette, can do it...so can you! Doot doo!

Born John Ruskin, he dubbed himself Nardwuar the Human Serviette in 1986, around the same time he got involved in radio as a student at the University of British Columbia. Since then, he's become a prominent journalist with well over a million YouTube subscribers. He did his most recent interview with Billie Eilish.
