Now that Nandi Bushell has her very own Dave Grohl original theme song from the last round of their ongoing drum-off challenge, the enthusiastic young musician has clapped back with her own original tune for the Foos frontman, a new song titled "Rock and Grohl — The EPIC Battle."

Written by Bushell and recorded at Metropolis Studios with the help of Josh Wilkinson and Joe Rubel, the 10-year-old's latest features her renowned drumming chops, plus some surprise skills on a few other new instruments.

"Mr. Grohl, the song you wrote for me was truly, truly EPIC!" Bushell wrote in a statement. "You really are LEGENDARY!"

She continued: "I wrote a song for you to say THANK YOU! I made up and played all the instrument parts myself, just like you! It's called 'ROCK and GROHL, The EPIC Battle'!"

Over the summer, Grohl accepted Bushell's drum-off challenge after she impressed the Foo Fighters frontman and fans alike with her cover of "Everlong." Bushell's beatkeeping took round one honours, then Grohl returned with a second-round surprise. The two seem to have an endless, adorable battle ahead of them.

"I hope you love my song, as much as I love your song for me!" Bushell said of her latest work. "Whoever wins this round, it's been an HONOUR to battle you. The Rock Gods of old are happy! Thank you, Dave Grohl and Foo Fighters."
