After delivering both Uniform Clarity and Uniform Distortion last year, My Morning Jacket's Jim James has announced a new album alongside Teddy Abrams and the Louisville Orchestra.

Titled The Order of Nature, James' latest arrives October 18 through Decca Gold. Nine tracks in length, the album sets new and previously released songs from James alongside orchestral accompaniment.

The Order of Nature will also arrive alongside a three-part companion documentary that details the making of the album. You can watch a clip of that below, where you'll also find album cut "Set It to Song."

"The core idea to me is trying to reflect on the fact that nature doesn't know how to hate," James said in a press release. "Humans are part of nature obviously, but why do we have this thing called hatred and how do we get rid of it? We're fighting nature and thinking we can prevail over nature, but we're killing each other and killing the planet."

James and his My Morning Jacket bandmates recently treated their debut album, The Tennessee Fire, to an anniversary reissue.

The Order of Nature:

1. Walking In The Snow
2. Here In Spirit
3. The Human Touch
4. In Demand
5. Back To The End Of The World
6. Who Am I?
7. Over And Over
8. Set It To Song
9. Same Old Lie
