We knew that the Muskoka Sound Music Festival would be launching this year in Huntsville, ON, and now we have the lineup for the event's inaugural edition.

The three-day festival runs from September 12 to 14 and performers include Shad, Serena Ryder, Walk Off the Earth, Mother Mother, Monster Truck, Yukon Blonde and Paper Lions.

There are still 11 more bands to be announced, so this is just the first wave of announcements. Tickets will go on sale this Thursday (May 15), with three-day passes priced at $99. Single-day passes cost between $40 and $60, depending on the day.

The festival will take place at Lion's Lookout in Huntsville, located in Ontario's lake-filled Muskoka region. It's about two hours north of Toronto.

"Muskoka is already world famous for its breathtaking beauty and is primed to host a rockin' music festival," founder Andy McLean said in a statement. "and Muskoka Sound is a festival whose time has come. I am thrilled and thankful to have received so much support from so many people to help get it off the ground. The town of Huntsville and its community partners have come together to create an experience that will welcome fans to a distinctive festival offering great tunes, warm hospitality and an event to remember."
