Mount Eerie Unveils North American Tour in Support of 'Clear Moon'

BY Gregory AdamsPublished May 11, 2012

As previously reported, Clear Moon, Phil Elverum's first of two Mount Eerie LPs set to be released in 2012, hits store shelves on May 22 through his P.W. Elverum & Sun label. Thankfully for fans, the prolific Pacific Northwest lo-fi favourite will be touring behind the release, and he'll make his way around the western portion of Canada for much of his upcoming tour schedule.

The Canada-heavy tour schedule kicks off with a pair of dates in Alberta next week, with Mount Eerie heading to Edmonton and Calgary. After a bit of a break, Elverum will travel from Washington down to Oregon, and back up to BC. Those shows, which hit up Vancouver, Victoria and Nanaimo, will feature supporting sets from fellow Anacortes, WA acts Hungry Cloud Darkening, and the Motorbikes. You can see the schedule down below.

While Clear Moon is nearly here, there's still no word on when Elverum will let loose the upcoming "companion album" Ocean Roar.
