Last week on his Substack, Phil Elverum announced a couple of "weird" upcoming Mount Eerie concerts this summer, which will be the "last for a big chunk of time."

In addition to playing a matinee show at the Great Hall in Toronto next month, Mount Eerie will also be performing a special show in an actual cavern, located 90 minutes outside of Austin, TX, on June 6.

"Longhorn Cavern is the place. It's a state park. This will happen the evening of Fri. June 6th," Elverum wrote. "Capacity is extremely limited (49) and there won't be any extra tickets at the door (mouth of the cave), so jump on this."

What was once a Comanche meeting hall, Longhorn Cavern was occupied by soldiers during the American Civil War. Throughout its eclectic history, it has also served as an outlaw hideout, a dance hall during prohibition, and a makeshift bunker for President Lyndon B. Johnson. The cavern currently hosts walking tours as well as select live music events.

Tickets went on sale last Thursday (May 22). With a capacity so limited, it comes as no surprise that the event is already sold out

However, Toronto-based Mount Eerie fans still have the chance to catch the band at their matinee show on June 28
