Mötley Crüe Add Even More North American Dates to Farewell Tour

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Apr 21, 2015

Were you one of the many Mötley Crüe fans pleading with the devil to fix us up with even more tour stops on the group's reported final road trip? Well, your shouts were heard loud and clear, as the L.A. metal vets have added another big batch of dates to the farewell affair.

As previously reported, the quartet kickstart "The Final Tour" at the end of July and will be teaming up with shock rock great Alice Cooper for a number of U.S. dates, as well as stops in Toronto, Ottawa, Winnipeg and Montreal. Now, another 21 shows have been booked throughout the fall and early winter.

These latest addition will primarily stick to the U.S., but the Crüe have also booked their last-ever shows in Calgary, Edmonton and Saskatoon. With the band already having hit Vancouver last November, it doesn't look as if they'll be making their way to the city where they recorded Girls, Girls, Girls and Dr. Feelgood. Not even for one last stop at the Marble Arch.

"The demand to add more shows in North America has been overwhelming," the band's Nikki Sixx said in a statement. "The fans have spoken, so we've been trying to find time for more dates in addition to the international dates on the schedule this year. We want to say goodbye to as many fans as possible so we added these shows around the holidays. No better way to spend them than with the people who have supported us over all these years."

You'll find the updated tour itinerary, which has the band heading home, sweet home for a finale at L.A.'s Staples Center on New Year's Eve, down below.
