BY Alex HudsonPublished Nov 29, 2013

Vancouver music fans hoping to see Mother Mother frontman Ryan Guldemond in a whole new light will get their chance this weekend, when he participates in a multimedia show that mixes music with dance.

The show is dubbed Small Stage point 5, and it takes place tonight (November 29) and Saturday (November 30) at the Emerald. In addition to Guldemond, musicians include Stefana Fratila, Corbin Murdoch of the Nautical Miles, cellist Michelle Faehrmann of Four on the Floor String Quartet, and bluesy beatboxer C.R. Avery.

These musicians have been paired with a number of dancers, including Jen McLeish-Lewis, Hayden Fong, Lina Fitzner, Julianne Chapple, Karissa Barry, Justine Chambers and Billy Marchenski. The show is a spin-off of MovEnt's multi-stylistic dance series Dances for a Small Stage.

Tickets cost $20 for the show, or $45 for package that includes dinner beforehand. Both options are available to purchase here.
