Murmurings of a 20th anniversary reissue of Morrissey's classic Vauxhall and I album have now been confirmed, with news that an expanded edition arrives June 2 in the UK through Parlophone Records.
The tweaked-up edition arrives on double CD, vinyl and digitally. The two-disc set will feature the original album on one CD, while a live concert recorded at London's Theatre Royal in 1995 fills out the bonus disc. The concert material will also be available as downloadable content.
As you can see in the tracklisting down below, the 1994 studio set is preserved in its original running order, while the live performance includes takes on Vauxhall and I tracks like "The More You Ignore Me, The Closer I Get," "Why Don't You Find Out for Yourself" and "Billy Budd," as well as older tracks and a cover of "Moonriver."
Like the recent Your Arsenal repress, the new Vauxhall and I features a slight font change on its cover, and it's also now graced with the Parlophone logo. You can see the results up above.
In other news, Morrissey's next studio album, World Peace Is None of Your Business, is expected to arrive sometime in June or July through via Harvest Records/Capitol. As previously reported, the 12-song effort was recorded in France by Joe Chiccarelli.
