More Details Surface on DOOM's Collaboration with Thom Yorke and Jonny Greenwood

Back in March, masked rapper extraordinaire DOOM announced a team-up with Radiohead's Thom Yorke, but like many of the supervillain's schemes, from the rumoured second Madvillain record to that long-gestating full-length collab with Ghostface Killah, we had no idea if or when the song would drop. An exact date has yet to be delivered, but the ETA is real soon, apparently, as the song will appear as part of Lex Records' upcoming Complex compilation.

The as-yet-untitled track, which will also feature Radiohead's Jonny Greenwood, will appear online first as the imprint rolls out the collection's tracklisting piecemeal from now until mid-January. Following the final unveiling, the label will place each number on a vinyl picture disc.

Also slated to appear are tracks from Super Furry Animals leader Gruff Rhys's Neon Neon, Boom Bip and Crook & Flail.

DOOM's experiment isn't the first track he's done with the Radiohead lads. Back in 2009, Yorke unleashed a sorrowfully spacey reimagining of the rapper's "Gazillion Ear," which you can hear below.
