Monster Voodoo Machine Reunite

Long-time dormant electronic/industrial/metallers Monster Voodoo Machine have announced they will reunite for a gig in Toronto on August 9 at the Fun Haus.

Out of action for nine years, the band are looking forward to making their resurrection more than just a single performance. "This won't be a one-off "reunion" show. It's just the beginning of the latest VOODOO-esque horror / sci-fi / mad scientist movie sequel,” says M.V.M. front-man Adam (DOOM) Sewell in the band's press release. "It's been nine years since the band last blew up Frankenstein's lab and rocked it under the sawblade banner - and maybe it's the blood in the water, the fire in the skies or maybe the hell on earth, but it certainly feels like the right time to do it again.” Umm, okay. The band have been holed in their rehearsal space re-learning their old songs, as well as working on new material. But the band promise their performance will bring "intense volume, violent distortion... and maximum damage.”
