Mogwai Return to Canada on Massive World Tour

The trek comes as the band prep their new album with Dave Fridmann
Mogwai Return to Canada on Massive World Tour
Mogwai most recently travelled Canada and the North American continent while touring their score for the BBC's Atomic documentary. Now, the post-rock icons have planned a return on a massive world tour set to take place this fall.

After spending the bulk of October and November touring Europe, the band will land on North American shores on November 20, starting their trek across the continent in Los Angeles.

As far as Canadian dates, though, the band will play Vancouver's Commodore Ballroom on November 25 before heading east. A Toronto stop will see them take the stage at the Danforth Music Hall on December 5 and Montreal's Corona Theatre on December 6.

A press release reveals the band recently completed recording their ninth studio LP alongside Dave Fridmann, who had worked with the band on 1999's Come On Die Young and 2001's Rock Action.

The run of dates will bring the band back to Glasgow on December 16 for a headlining show at the SSE Hydro. Full ticketing information can be found through the band's official website.
