Published Jul 27, 2010

Mogwai's first concert film, Burning, will be screening in venues across Canada and the U.S. In August and September. But you don't have to wait that long as a virtual screening, hosted by UStream, is streaming below today (July 27) at 3:00 p.m. EST, and will include a Q&A at the end with Mogwai's Stuart Braithwaite and director Vincent Moon.

Burning and accompanying album, Special Moves, will be out on August 24 and will be available in a number of formats for both the visual and audio portions, which you can pre-order here.

Burning comprises 45 minutes of footage from the band's three-night residency at Brooklyn's Music Hall of Williamsburg in April 2009. Special Moves acts akin to a live "best of" compilation, with the band playing songs from as far back as their debut.
