It's been just over four years since Modest Mouse delivered their Strangers to Ourselves album, and the band have now kickstarted rumours of an imminent return with some special deliveries to listeners.
Fans on social media have posted images of a triangular puzzle mailed to them by the band. When pieced together, the puzzle forms a collage of different mushrooms.
Below, you can find pictures of the completed puzzle, which comes in an accompanying drawstring bag addressed, "To: YOU From: Modest Mouse."
Of course, fans will recall the band using a similar strategy prior to the release of Strangers to Ourselves, sending a select number of listeners a white label, double-sided 7-inch of lead single "Lampshades on Fire" in the mail.
