Last night, a series of celebs congratulated one another with the return of the Grammys. While the notoriously normie night of music often forgets underground artists in its In Memoriam segment, the Recording Academy did remember to pay tribute to MF DOOM. Still, as some fans have pointed out, a crucial mistake was made.

DOOM's project Madvillain was responsible for the excellent track "All Caps" (which was recently remastered), wherein the artist made one simple request: "Just remember ALL CAPS when you spell the man name."

The Grammys did not get the memo, instead listing DOOM's moniker in title case on the screen.

When this was pointed out, Twitter quickly took notice.

Then again, we're talking about an organization that pluralizes the word "Grammy" as "Grammys," so caps and spelling are not necessarily its top priorities.
