Toronto post-punk trio METZ have yet to detail their upcoming Sub Pop sophomore effort, but they've satiated fans with a brand new cover track, taking on the Urinals' "I'm a Bug."
The song sounds like, well, METZ covering the Urinals: a wiry, gritty post-punk offering that's chaotic and loud, with just enough melody to keep you hanging on. The track comes with some MAD Magazine-referencing single art that reimagines Alfred E. Neuman as a haggard skid with a Gucci Mane ice cream tattoo.
