Metallica Postpone Tour Dates as James Hetfield Checks into Addiction Treatment Facility

Metallica have made the decision to postpone their several upcoming tour dates so that frontman James Hetfield may enter treatment facility to battle his issues with addiction.

The band made the announcement tonight, breaking the new that their tour of Australia and New Zealand will be postponed.

"As most of you probably know, our brother James has been struggling with addiction on and off for many years," Metallica wrote tonight in Instagram post. "He has now, unfortunately, had to re-enter a treatment program to work on his recovery again."
