Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly Drank Each Other's Blood After Getting Engaged

She's about to become Mrs. Weed

America's sweethearts of cringe Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly have officially decided to spend the rest of their lives together — and sealed the deal with a blood pact.

MGK's first words to the actor were famously "I am weed," and the rest is history; how is a woman to resist? The rapper-turned-rocker has since been equally enamoured with Fox — who he once stabbed himself while trying to impress — and settled into being a big wife-guy, so news of their engagement should come as no surprise.

They each announced their plans to wed on Instagram last night (January 12) after the destination proposal took place in Puerto Rico — where the couple initially met while filming Midnight in the Switchgrass — on Tuesday (January 11).

"In July of 2020, we sat under this banyan tree," Fox wrote in the caption of her post, "We asked for magic. We were oblivious to the pain we would face together in such a short, frenetic period of time; unaware of the work and sacrifices the relationship would require from us, but intoxicated off of the love — and the karma."

She continued: "Somehow a year and a half later, having walked through hell together, and having laughed more than I ever imagined possible, he asked me to marry him. And just as in every lifetime before this one — and as in every lifetime that will follow it — I said yes," adding, "… and then we drank each other's blood."

We're getting real Twilight Saga vibes from the impending nuptials already.

"Beneath the same branches we fell in love under, I brought her back to ask her to marry me," wrote MGK (née Colson Baker). "I know tradition is one ring, but I designed it with Stephen Webster to be two: the emerald (her birth stone) and the diamond (my birth stone) set on two magnetic bands of thorns that draw together as two halves of the same soul forming the obscure heart that is our love."

The happy couple's engagement follows that of their good pals Travis Barker and Kourtney Kardashian, who said "forever" last October (and then the Kardashian gave the Blink-182 drummer a lap dance to "All the Small Things" at a wedding, setting expectations high).

It definitely feels like these four might be spearheading a new celebrity pop-punk cult or something, but these weddings are definitely gearing up to be extravagant, leather-and-lace affairs. Maybe a joint (ha, get it?) ceremony is even in the cards?

TLDR; Till death do they part.
