Matthew Tavares, former keyboardist for BADBADNOTGOOD, has teamed up with the Regent Park School of Music for Parkscapes Vol. 2.

Due out on Wednesday (March 11), the collection marks the latest instalment of music available through the Kingsway Music Library, which was created by producer Frank Dukes. Taylor Swift famously sampled the Regent Park Youth Choir and Dukes' collaboration Parkscapes Vol. 1 on her latest album, Lover.

Tavares recorded Parkscapes Vol. 2 over two days in Toronto with the RPSM students.

"It's a transformative process. Each student has a different approach to their instrument, to the way they think about music, and to the things they're hearing when we're putting these songs together," he said in a statement. "It leads to a unique sound. You're inspiring them, they're inspiring us. It's special. And it's cool to think this might spark something in them that could lead to bigger things down the road."

Majority of the royalties from the purchase, licensing or sampling of the Parkscapes series are returned to the music school.

As previously reported, Tavares will also release a new album with his former BBNG bandmate Leland Whitty. Visions is due out on March 20.
