Electronic genius Matthew Herbert has had a ridiculously busy and varied career. Don't believe us? Check out this Timeline of his work Exclaim! recently did. Now, though, he'll be following last year's excellent There's Me And There's You with not one but three new albums.

UK's Fact Magazine points to a highly detailed "Herbert Pig" blog that follows the progress of the first of the three records. Called One Pig, the album sees Herbert record samples through the entire life cycle of a pig.

As Herbert says on his blog, "I will be there at its birth, during its life, present at its death, and during the butchery process. Its body will then be given to chefs, new and old. There will be a feast. It will all be recorded. and then turned in to music."

The details are unclear, but Herbert plans for the album to be out in 2010. The release date of the project, though, obviously depends on the life span of the pig.

Among the other two albums Herbert is working on, one is is One Club. The album will be recorded at a club in Germany, where invited guests will be encouraged to make toilets. "There will be various microphones placed both outside and inside the club (including the toilets) to capture everything," Herbert said on his website. "Everyone is welcome to come along."

The third album Herbert is planning is called One One, and takes a more normal route, with songs played on real instruments.
