Though Matt & Kim have been busy touring, the never-frowning duo have found time to complete a third full-length. That record, Sidewalks, will be released on November 2 via the FADER Label. As promised, the album's lead single "Cameras" will be available for online purchase tomorrow (August 31). If you can't wait that long, the song is available to hear now.
Just like Matt said, the song has a "good, party vibe, big heavy beats, sing-along chorus." Upon first listen, however, we can't help but miss the 3 a.m. warehouse-party feeling of their earlier material. The song is definitely catchy as hell, but it's trading in some of the duo's charm for slicker, radio-ready sheen.
