Next year's Maryland Deathfest is shaping up to be plenty insane. A couple of weeks back, organizers announced an initial batch of artists set to appear at the fest, which included major coups Venom and the Haunted. The second wave of artist reveals is now here, and, man, is it heavy.

Fest planners unveiled another couple of dozen acts set to perform at Baltimore venues between May 26 to 29. Of the many adds, some of the more veteran acts include thrash unit Testament, Italian prog guys Goblin, death metal legends Repulsion, first wave hardcore crew Negative Approach and Dan Lilker's long-running Nuclear Assault.

D-beat originators Discharge are also set to appear, as are fellow UK unit DOOM, and proto-power violence masochists Infest. Portland's modern-day crust lords Tragedy will grace the Deathfest with a set, as will band member Todd Burdette's older outfit, Severed Head of State.

In addition, Maryland Deathfest will feature performances from Hirax, Rotten Sound, Ringworm, Buzzov*en, Magrudergrind, Paradise Lost, Deranged, Gets Worse, Satan, Tempest, Weedeater, Waco Jesus, Novembers Doom, Horrendous, Putresence, Priapus, Demonic Christ, Test, Skullshitter and many, many more.

As previously reported, the lineup also includes Samael, Jungle Rot, Bongzilla, Deströyer 666, the Death-saluting Gruesome, Exciter, Sinister, Hail of Bullets, Wormed, Lord Belial, Khold, Malignant Tumour, Severe Torture, Svartidauði and Wormed.
