Martin Gore Preps Remix EP

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Jul 20, 2015

Depeche Mode member Martin Gore has announced plans to issue a remix EP to complement his recent self-titled debut as MG, and you might be able to help him out. The veteran electro-pop performer is currently seeking fan-submitted remixes.

MG Remixes will be delivered as a double 12-inch and digitally on October 2 through Mute. The collection will collect previously revealed remixes provided by the likes of Andy Stott and Christoffer Berg, as well as outtakes "De Nada" and "Gifting."

Gore is also seeking a remix of his LP's "Feather Light." Together with BitTorrent, he's running a competition for fans to deliver their own interpretation of the song, with the winning entry being tacked onto the digital edition of MG Remixes. The stems for the track are currently available here, with the submission deadline being August 21.

You can read Exclaim!'s review of the instrumental offering over here, while Stott and Berg's remixes can be found beneath the tracklisting of the physical edition.

MG Remix:
