Though Antemasque removed their self-titled debut from Bandcamp earlier this summer, the band have now announced the recordings will once again be delivered this October and will furthermore be supported with a cluster of tour dates.
The Mars Volta/At the Drive-In offshoot, featuring vocalist Cedric Bixler-Zavala and guitarist Omar Rodríguez-López, have announced that their 10-song introduction is now due to arrive sometime in October through Nadie Sound. While the official street date has yet to be let loose, it will presumably be after the band begin a series of European shows early in the month. These will be followed with a North American block of dates that includes a Canadian stop at Toronto's Mod Club on November 14.
You'll find the itinerary, which also includes a few 2015 festival stops, down below.
As previously reported, Antemasque's debut was preceded by a three-song teaser of "4AM," "Hangin' in the Lurch" and "People Forget" before arriving in full in July. It had been taken down, though, leading to this newly announced fall due date. The record features Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist and longtime collaborator Flea, though it was quickly clarified earlier this year that the funky monk isn't a full-time member of Antemasque.
