When the Mark Inside's Chris Levoir tragically passed away earlier this month, the band were in the process of unveiling a new album, Dark Hearts Can Radiate White Light. Now, the surviving members have shared this final album online as they gear up for an event on July 4 in Toronto, which will double as a release show and a tribute to Levoir.

The eight-song, 29-minute collection is streaming in full below. It was self-produced at 652A College St. in Toronto between January and February 2012, with additional recording by Levoir at Horny Goat Studios and Gus Harris at Golden Egg Studios. The tracks were mixed by Alphonse Alixander Lanza III at Parkdalian Sound Space.

The music is credited to the Mark Inside, while Levoir penned all the lyrics. A note on SoundCloud encourages fans to "listen, enjoy, remember."

As for the show, it had been originally planned as a release party at Blk Box. It has since been moved to the Great Hall and is billed as "A Night of Covers: A Celebration of Chris Levoir." Among the acts who will be paying tribute to Levoir are Ian Blurton (Change of Heart), Mad Ones, Action Makes, the Carnations, the Cruelty Party, Jetset Motel, Proof of Ghosts, Peter Carmichael (the Diableros), Anna Mernieks (Beams) and more.
