Marilyn Manson Forces Fan to Take Off Avenged Sevenfold Shirt: "That's Not My Band"

Some people like to attend concerts sporting the merch of the band they're due to see at that particular event, while others like to wear T-shirts and clothing they bought at the show. The point is, we have much bigger problems to worry about other than what people wear to rock out, but Marilyn Manson doesn't seem to think so.

As Noisecreep points out, Manson's recent appearance at Download Festival in the UK saw the shock rocker invite a group of young fans onstage, only to awkwardly force one in particular to remove his Avenged Sevenfold T-shirt.

In a fan-shot video from the show, which you can find below, Manson can be seen awkwardly pressing the concertgoer to remove his T-shirt, because "that's not my band."

A Reddit user who claims to have been at the show wrote that Manson was fed up with the pro-A7X crowd, who reportedly booed him for half an hour.

You can watch the strange interaction go down below. The fan also could have countered Manson's request with one of his own to get a look at those fabled ribs.
