Maps Reveals Details of "Edgier, Angrier, More Electronic" Sophomore Effort, Enlists Tim Holmes of Death in Vegas to Co-Produce

Northampton, England's shoegazing indie rocker Maps has released the details on the follow-up album to 2007's Mercury Prize nominated We Can Create.

Fish'n'chips boy James Chapman, who constitutes the entirety of Maps, has dubbed the new record Turning the Mind and enlisted Death In Vegas's Tim Holmes to co-produce. So, how does the album differ from We Can Create? Well, according to Chapman, it's "edgier, angrier, more electronic, more personal, more focused and better. Much better."

Turning the Mind is scheduled for release in the UK on September 28 and has its first single, "I Dream Of Crystal," set to drop September 14.
