Diplo's Major Lazer project premiered their new cartoon last night (April 16), but now they're setting their sights on their upcoming album Peace Is the Mission. In anticipation of that collection, the group just rolled out the new cut "Night Riders."
The song is a hip-hop banger that comes boosted by high-profile guest appearances from Travi$ Scott, 2 Chainz, Pusha T and Mad Cobra. Over a slow, banging beat, rapped verses give way to an AutoTuned chorus that warns listeners, "Tonight we're going to set the streets on fire / All I need is the gas and the lighter." Contrary to the album title, this doesn't sound like a very peaceful mission.
Peace Is the Mission will be out on June 1 through Mad Decent. Other guests include Ellie Goulding, Ariana Grande, MØ, Elliphant, Wild Belle and more.
