Pop queen Madonna is currently working on a new project called SecretProjectRevolution, which is a 17-minute short film to launch Art for Freedom, itself an "online global initiative to further freedom of expression... to respond, address and protest persecution around the world." All of that's a long way to say she recently performed Elliott Smith's "Between the Bars" at the film's launch party.
As the below video showcases, Madonna was dragged onstage by a pair of cops at which point a piano kicked in. Then, despite faking to be handcuffed, she pulled out a mic and busted into the song.
