GTA grindcore unit Mad Trapper are gearing up for the release of their debut full-length later this year, but before it arrives, Exclaim! has got the premiere of a brand new track called "1/3."
Self-described as a band that "came out of the gates (of hell) with a vicious vigour," Mad Trapper formed from the ashes of Terror Spells, releasing their debut EP Kill Us, Start Anew back in 2013. Now, they're ready to unleash their first LP. Titled Dead Living, the record is slated to arrive digitally and on vinyl this summer via Sorrow Carrier Records.
With "1/3," anxious fans a can get a taste of the new record, right now. It delivers two minutes of non-stop noise, complete with crushing guitars, pummelling drums and grizzly growls.
Mad Trapper's next show is slated for May 6 at the Hard Luck Bar in Toronto, though the band plan to tour Ontario and Quebec in support of the new record come July. For now, though, give "1/3" a listen in the player below.
