Ball cap-wearing prankster Mac DeMarco has an album called Salad Days due out on April 1 through Captured Tracks, and he's shared a new tune called "Let My Baby Stay" through an acoustic performance video filmed by Hiro Murai for Portugal's Canal180.
This live video finds DeMarco strumming an acoustic guitar in various locations in Guimarães, Portugal. The songwriter sits on a rooftop, walks on a treadmill, wanders around an underground parking garage, and perches on a stool at a live gig, with each location giving the song its own sonic character. There's even a scene featuring DeMarco playing a drum kit while playing a dress and starting with strange intensity.
This isn't the first time DeMarco has shared new album material in live acoustic form.
